After struggling through the first 24 hours in London with a killer bout of jet lag, I emerged day 2 to explore the quaint streets of Pimlico. The treelined blocks with picturesque residential buildings gave me a little village feel in the middle of London. Just south of expensive Victoria and north of the new glass towers of Vauxhaul, Pimilico is centrally situated while offering quiet neighborhood charm. For a girl coming from Prospect Heights,  Pimilico feels like home. Unfortunately, the apartment I viewed was in the ugliest and tallest building in the neighborhood. Better luck tomorrow. For day 3, my search goes east to Bow Road, Devons Road, Bethnal Green and Shoreditch.
